Tata Indica Vista D90 spy shots emerge, launch round the corner

Tata is preparing to revitalize the Tata Indica range. This time it will be in the form of Tata Indica Vista D90, which is the most powerful diesel hatchback in the stable. The Vista D90 launch is round the corner and the series of spyshots that have appeared in the recent past suggests that the car will be one of the best in the series. Till now the Fiat Punto Sport has been the highest powered diesel hatchback in the country. Meanwhile, some reports also confirm that the Vista D90 has already started appearing at some of the dealerships in Pune. As per the information, new Vista will be available in two variants – VX and ZX and the price of the Vista D90 VX will be around Rs 5.70 lakh while that of the highest trim VX will be Rs 6.40 lakh.
 

It is believed that the Vista D90 will straightaway give a fight to Fiat Punto Sport and it is quite possible that Maruti may get inspired with it and could launch the Maruti Swift Sport in India. Design wise, the Vista D90 is a lookalike of its other variants but under the hood it will have a more powerful engine. As per the reports, the new car will have more powerful 1.3 L Quadrajet engine. The power output of this car will be 90 bhp and thus it is named as D90. The power boost has been achieved following the introduction of the variable geometry turbocharger.
 

On the inside, there are a lot many changes and the Vista D90 becomes a lookalike of Tata Manza. Thus, the instrument console gets just behind the steering wheel. On the outside, the sides get new flanks stickers and the roof has a new shade in contrast to the color of the car. The same contrast is duplicated on the air dam and the outside rear view mirrors. The top model of this powerful hatchback has various features including full power windows, ABS, EBD, airbags and a lot of other features that makes it a worth buy.
