Indian Auto Expo 2016: Toyota to display Vios sedan
With each passing day new secrets are being disclosed by car makers regarding the jewels hidden in their bag. The latest news is coming from the pavilion of Toyota Kirloskar Motors the Indian alliance of Japanese maker Toyota Motors, it is reported that apart from unveiling generation next Toyota Innova to be christened as Toyota Crysta the car maker will also showcase its new sedan Vios during the show that will be launched against tough leaders in C segment like Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Honda City. However after unveiling the sedan during Indian Auto Expo 2016 the sedan will touch Indian roads sometimes during next year.
The Vios sedan will be offered in both petrol and diesel variants which will be empowered with 1.6 litre petrol and diesel engines and will be brought through completely knocked down units (CKD) and then sent for assembling at company’s production unit located in Bangalore. Physically Vios will have the length of 4,410mm, width of 1,700mm and height of 1,475mm with wheelbase of 2,50mm. It is said to fill the gap between Etios sedan and Corolla Altis. Being tough contender to Honda City and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz , Vios will be embellished with bunch of features like touchscreen infotainment system, start-stop ignition button, leather upholstery, automatic climate control, along with ABS and dual air bags are standard features in all trims.
