Stylish Etios but performance

Pros : Dynamically perfect, capacious interiors, good fuel efficiency and large boot space

Cons : low performance and inefficient acceleration

Hello!! Recently I got an opportunity to drive my uncle’s newly bought Toyota Etios V petrol. At the first glance, I was impressed by its looks which looked alike the luxury Toyota saloon, Camry. It has got 1.5 liter petrol engine that lacks efficient performance. We were on highways wherein I experienced what actually this car lacks. First of all, you have to stress on the acceleration paddle a lot to enable it to run on highways efficiently. Moreover, crossing 110 kmph speed the vehicle starts shivering like a small car and road grip starts loosing. Sometimes, the transmission of this car seems to be bit notchy.

If I talk about the inside glance of this car, I would say I am impressed with its capacious built. Five people can breathe in freely inside this car. There is enough leg-room to stretch your legs, the height is sufficient to avail ample of headroom space and sufficient width avails sufficient shoulder space for three adults sitting on the rear seat. If I compare it to the Swift dzire, the dash board quality of Toyota Etios is slightly cheaper.

The best part of Toyota Etios in my concern is its features. The variant I drove had all the necessary safety and comfort features like Anti-lock Braking System with EBD, Dual Airbags, Central Locking, Engine Immobilizer and Brake Assist. Another complimentary factor of this car is its large boot space of 595 liters that can easily hold three-four large suitcases when you are out for a tour.

In my verdict, Toyota Etios is a good car if you don’t consider its performance as it has got great mileage of around 13 kmpl. Furthermore, it has got soothing interiors and incredible features.
