An amazing ride at much better price
Pros : Adoring looks, amazing ride, good fuel efficiency and high ground clearance
Cons : High maintenance cost and inferior quality plastic used to build interiors
I am 65 and my entire life, I have driven all sort of SUVs and Tata’s Safari is my current ride. I selected Safari for the high end comfort it provides and that too in a much reasonable price. I have been driving Safari for over a year now and it’s been great all this time. Safari is an advance definition of immense power, great comfort, nice fuel economy and all of them at much reasonable price.
Engine is powered with 2179cc displacement which generates 140 PS of power at 4000 rpm of torque. Everyday when I take steering in hand I feel the car’s power flowing inside me and makes me feel strong my son also likes Safari a lot and we go on weekends on long drives and everybody enjoys the ride with 100% comfort and 200% luxury. Mileage is great too 9 kms in city and 14 kms on highway is a pretty decent figure for an SUV. Tyres are broad and provides tough grip over the road and enables taking sharp turns. For a diesel vehicle its maintenance cost is very less but I am not satisfied with the after sales service of Tata. Making them understand the pain areas is the pain in itself and they give me hard time fulfilling this task. Sometimes I prefer to get my vehicle serviced outside. Spares are costly but vehicle is rugged enough. A best SUV feels the glitch of bad after sales service is the point of big concern for mighty Tata’s but still I love Safari for the high end driving experience and for taking good care of my old bones.
