Smart looking, but old fashioned car
Pros : pocket friendly
Cons : finishing and interiors
India's very own car company Tata has come up with India's first fully domestic car Indica's new model Indica Vista. This was awaited for years. Indica was a hit in India, but it has many issues that made it not so good car. Now, let's see if Tata has been able to eradicate those problems with Indica.
Exterior: Indica Vista looks much better than the older version. It has new generation looks and a better body. The healights and rearlights are better than the old Indica. The car is taller and wider. But the thing that keeps it from being a beauty, is the overall finishing of the car. Tata could have really done better here.
Interior: The hatchback car is quite spacious. It is not actually a small car. 5 people can sit quite easily. The length, width and height of the car are good. The interiors though don't look that good. The changes made include the tachometer going to the center of the car. I don't know why but it doesn't suit the car at all. It looks really odd there, and the car doesn't look advanced at all.
Engine: First thing one notices when Indica Vista is turned on, is the noisy engine. This has been a problem with all Tata cars. There has been no improvements on the noise reduction at all. Keep this aside, and the car generates nice power and speed. Ride quality has somewhat improved.
Overall: Tata Indica Vista is surely an improved car from the Indian company, but this was the least we expected. Tata could have done a lot better here. No doubt, it is pocket friendly car though.

The most exciting thing about the new Indica Vista is that it is offered in three main variants with three engine options and like the Indica, it's available in both petrol and diesel versions.
In my opinion Tata Indica Vista is a complete family car which offers me all comfort and a world class driving experience.
Really Indica Vista looks much better than the older version
