Tata Indica eV2, extremely frugal hatch
Pros : Excellent mileage, affordable price tag
Cons : lack of power steering, power windows
I own a Tata Indica eV2 LE; I bought the hatchback last year in March when it was launched. The excellent mileage ranging between 20 kmpl to 25 kmpl blew me away. I am fortunate to have bought the diesel hatch as within a year, petrol prices have gone up drastically and people are switching from petrol cars to diesel, CNG or LPG cars. Price wise also, the car is affordable and will not burn a whole in your pocket. Air conditioner is very effective and keeps the interiors cool even in scorching sun. Though CD player is absent and some of the other features are also missing in the hatch but that can be ignored. I have to travel a lot due to which I opted for a diesel hatch even when petrol prices were not that high but according to me this is the best car in India in the hatchback segment, it is fuel efficient and affordable too.

ReplyNew Tata Indica eV2, the car is same like the other Indica’s but this time Tata has launched India with a new engine which makes it a little bit different.
