A very pricey Renault Duster Diesel RXL

Pros : high class design, lavish comfort features and good mileage

Cons : high on price, lack of automatic climate control, no rear AC vents

My Uncle purchased Renault Duster Diesel RXL Option Pack with great proud this month. He is a big fan of Renault cars. The Duster SUV is certainly impressive in my view as well. But, the major problem with Duster for me is the price. In the less price range, Indian manufacturer, Mahindra and Mahindra is offering Mahindra XUV500. The Renault Duster Diesel RXL Option Pack is accompanied with a good 1.5L of diesel engine that produces 85PS of power and 200Nm of torque.
 
The five speed manual transmission coupled with the engine assist the car to deliver a good mileage of 20.46kmpl on the highway. Even the interiors of the Renault Duster Diesel RXL Option Pack are loaded. There is air-conditioning system with heater, power windows, power steering, cup holders on the front and rear, multi-functional steering wheel, CD/Mp3 player with AM/FM radio and so on.
 
But with such high price, the SUV doesn’t feature automatic climate control and the lack of rear AC vents makes it a bit difficult for the rear passengers to travel in extreme summers. These things certainly make Renault Duster Diesel RXL Option Pack a little lower on graph. Nonetheless, the safety department of the car is close to perfect and manages to deliver good safety to the car as well as the passengers. The car has dual airbags for the driver and front passenger, anti lock braking system with brake assist that prevent the wheels from locking up when immediate brakes are applied and electronic brake force distribution system. Overall, Renault Duster Diesel RXL Option Pack is a so-so deal for me. But I would still prefer to buy a Mahindra in place of Duster.
