Hello people! My name is Shana from Chandigarh and my almost friends have Maruti Swift. They always told me that why don’t I think for it? But I always felt that the car takes lot of parking space and is like a small baby elephant but when I had a test drive, I immediately made up my mind for it. Such a smooth drive with the pin-drop-silence, only Swift can offer. What a grip on road! No chances of accidents even at high speed. I just simply loved the car and so do my family.

Well to discuss its features in detail it is powered by 1248cc 1.3L, DDiS Diesel Engine which emits the power of 75Ps at 4000rpm and a torque of 190Nm at 2000rpm. This is mated with 5 speed manual transmission which takes up to the highest of 154kmph. The fuel economy is of 19kmpl on city roads and 23kmpl on highways. This small wonder is priced for Rs 6.50 Lakh.

Maruti Swift is assisted by the powerful AC, Automatic Climate Control, tilt adjustable power steering, front and rear power windows, adjustable seats with headrests, integrated music system and multi functioning steering wheel in its interiors. These increase the comfort level for occupants and ease for driver. Adding to it is the premium fabric upholstery which gives it a sophisticated look. Exteriors are adorned with the classy halogen headlamps mated with chrome grille and fog lamps, power adjustable ORVM’s, body colored bumpers, door handles, ORVM’s and tailgate handles, rear window washer, wiper and defogger for safety purpose etc.

Manufacturers have well taken care for the occupants by introducing airbags, ABS, EBD with brake assist and center locking. Now I know why this car is so much in demand?
