Windy Swift with upscale comforts!!

Pros : Fabulous interiors and excellent features

Cons : Exteriors could have been left the same as the previous model

A day back, I got my hands over the all new Maruti Swift VXi and now I can proudly say that I am a part of Maruti Suzuki family. I have driven it for around 45 kms so far and undoubtedly, the driving has been too good. On highways, though I did not drive much, but yes I think that the road grip and stability was quite fabulous.

Interiors of my Swift are as good as its rivals i.e. Polo and Fabia. Seats have got excellent quality of fabric mating and the dash board has also got fine quality plastics. Both the driver and the co-driver seat have got enough space. The multimedia system is another complimentary factor of Swift. However, the leg-room of the rear seat is not as much as the Etios but also stiff as the i20. Three passengers can comfortably sit on the rear seat of this car.

Steering has got controls on it that eases the audio managing while driving. Power Windows work well and the air-conditioner is too good to make you chilled in a hot and humid climate. There is enough space in the boot to accommodate two large suitcases quite easily and the music system has got sound like a cinema hall. Fog lamps are placed on the front of the car to give a better vision at night.

One thing I don’t like about the new Swift is its new rear design. I think that already the exteriors of this car were too good and there was no need to modify the rear of the car. Overall in my perception the car is good and whoever intends to buy it can surely be its partner.
