Hello everyone! Hope you all had an amazing festive season. I have recently joined the Maruti Swift family and now I own the Swift VXI variant. It has got a unique grace that makes it stand apart from the crowd. Unlike, the old Swift, my new Swift has got added sportier trims. In fact, the enlarged headlamps look appealing. From inside, the car is very capacious and 5 passengers can sit comfortably. In addition, I am pleased with well-deigned dashboard made with fine quality plastics.

I decided to go for Swift due to its low maintenance cost and wide dealership network. I also test drove Hyundai i20, but the drive was not satisfactory. The road grip and stability is much better in Maruti Swift compared to Hyundai i20. Added to this, the engine power is incredible and makes Swift run like an SUV. My Swift VXI variant is one of the top variants, but it misses some features like Dual front Airbags, ABS and Alloy wheels. However, it includes features like Power Windows, Power Steering, Central Locking, Music system, Front & rear fog lamps etc.

Although, the car is good in all aspects but has some minor problems that should be checked while buying it. The electric ORVM adjustment is not the perfect one and the rear view is also not good. Moreover, while going for reverse gear, you have to shift the knob a couple of times. I think that these two problems should be checked prior buying the vehicle.
