Now more difficult to maintain the petrol one

Pros : Awesome styling, comfortable seats

Cons : features missing, low mileage and not available in CNG

It was pleasing when I bought my Maruti Swift LXI two years back, but now with the sky touching petrol prices I am finding it hard to maintain it. I think that the time has come when the company should think of introducing Swift in CNG variants. Moreover, the existing petrol variant should also be installed with the CNG kit at a nominal cost.

I had a word with one of the Maruti Suzuki representatives and they said that it would not be possible to run Swift on CNG as its power would go down. It was a foolish reply, if a car like SX4 can run on CNG, why can’t Swift be driven with CNG power. Besides this, some other features like power windows, CD player should also be added in the base variant of the car.
