Ertiga ZXI - super smooth value for money UV

Pros : Flexible seating, engine smoothness, looks, fuel efficiency, comfort

Cons : Bumpy ride on 3rd row seats, no back-light for power window switches

The petrol model is super smooth to drive. The steering is so soft compared to other cars. The gear-shift is also smooth.
The engine noise is almost nil & the cabin is so silent that sometimes I feel that the car has switched off.
The information display showed the average as 6kmpl on the 1st day. But now it is slowly increasing with more running & has reached 14.4kmpl after 200kms of running. It might further improve after 1st servicing.

The power-window & central locking switches are not illuminated & this causes problems at night.

The flexible seating is very useful & there is decent leg-room in 3rd row seats as well. The under-thigh support on 3rd row seats is even better than that in Innova. But it is quite a bumpy ride on the 3rd row seats. Otherwise the suspension is good & small bumps are not felt on 1st & 2nd row seats.

The two cabin lights lighten up the whole cabin brightly.

Overall, a value for money car for a slightly bigger family or for those who want comfort of sedan & practicality of a Utility Vehicle.
