Mahindra Scorpio is the car that I chose just because of my large family. The interiors of car have great space to accommodate 7 to 8 people easily. Scorpio has an extremely powerful engine and gives a comfortable handling even at higher speeds even at highways. Scorpio has attractive looks and gives masculine touch with its bulky appearance. While purchasing the car the most difficult thing for me was to choose among so many variants but finally I landed into the VLX. Scorpio comes with advanced safety features that are quite effective and responsive. Scorpio is really broad in size which creates problem in city traffic, side clearance and while parking too but good steering and other controls makes the job easier in the end.

 

 

Exteriors

 

The exteriors of the car are sophisticated, intense and give a masculine touch. The giant is very powerful and is available in 9 different varieties of colours. The quality of material and paint used is poor. The car has dimensions appropriate for such a SUV. The well structured body of Scorpio is equipped with the dynamic front grille and glint of chrome in the mid span. The sharp curves and chunky door handles help in delivering hard and tough looks.

 

 

Interiors

 

The interiors cover a large space which can easily accommodate 7 to 8 people comfortably. The looks are not so impressive but provide essential features in well designed manner. The cabin has 5 gates to get inside. The legroom in the 2nd and 3rd row is fairly good. The updated versions are enabled with power steering, central locking, automatic wipers and headlamps and parking sensors and much more. Driver’s seat is quite comfortable and helps in commanding it well in the traffic. The steering is of rack and pinion type. The interiors are well defined with huge spacious seats that provide great comfort in all postures.

 

 

Engine

 

The engine turbocharged and superb in power and pickup, however fuel economy is poor but what more can you expect from a SUV. Being a common phenomenon, the powerful engine takes seconds to cross the 100 mark. The engine is highly advanced among other SUVs and is well enabled with solenoid injectors that are quite eco friendly and produce less noise making the drive peaceful and relaxing. 

 

 

Performance

 

The performance is much good on the highways than in the city. The mileage is not so good but it is usual of a SUV. The car can be handled easily because of its good steering response and gear system. The car is equipped with advanced safety features. The sensors in tyres help to smooth drive. Driving at high speeds at the highway is a charm with this giant.

 

 

Conclusion

 

The car does not require much of maintenance and hence can be called as a one time investment. The SUV has undergone many advanced updates and has certainly increased its level but few are still left to consider.
