Scorpio – Purely meant for on-road & off-road conditions
Pros : Resistive and crash tested powerful outfit, efficient in drive and stable
Cons : The front axle ground clearance is low and braking is not much efficient
Mahindra Scorpio SLE BS III has been the main reason for most of my travel expeditions and tours across the nation. I have driven my Scorpio on almost different conditions and the experience has been outstanding. I purchased this car 2.5 years ago and there have been lots of exciting adventures with Scorpio. For the hilly conditions, Mahindra Scorpio is the best compatible animal with outstanding massive power. Yes, most of the times I have experienced that the braking of the car is not much efficient that is a major setback of this cars.
The exteriors of Mahindra Scorpio are the toughest one to ensure you maximum safety. Even the design is the sporty one that makes me feel that I am driving a real sports vehicle. When you drive this crossover at the speed of more than 140 kmph, you confront the reality of this SUV. It maintains the same stability and gives a better handling experience. I will also accredit the engine of this car that makes it run like anything. Also its noise is very low compared to the Bolero and the Xylo. Yes the one thing that troubles on the rocky conditions is the low ground clearance of the front axle. The rear axle has got a good space but the front is bit slopy that reduces the ground clearance.
Moreover, the turning radius of the car is less that eases the turning on mountain curves. The powerful AC refreshes the entire climate inside the car. The accelerator is also too responsive to run this machine like anything. However, the flattened and extended bonnet somehow distracts proper visibility.
