Hyundai should launch Eon in diesel version

Pros : Good appearance and good mileage

Cons : Lack of diesel engine and lack of safety features

I have been looking to buy a car for myself and I did some research on it. I am looking for a hatchback that would not cost much on my pocket. I was impressed with the looks of Hyundai Eon, though it is an entry level hatchback but looks bigger than its rivals Maruti Alto and definitely much better than Nano. However the engine is not as powerful with only 56PS of power. It has a good fuel economy but it is available in only petrol and LPG version.

The model I researched is the Hyundai Eon Era Plus, which is priced at Rs 3.17 lakh (ex-showroom price). Had the hatch been present in diesel version I would have bought it, with the sudden bump in petrol prices of around Rs 7.50, it would not be wise to buy a petrol car. Eon is a good car but Hyundai should launch it in diesel version also.
