It was my daughter’s 23st birthday and I decided to present her a gift of life time, a car. As she use to commute through Activa scooter to her office that I felt extremely unsafe in the city traffic conditions along with scorching summer, plentiful rain and cold winters that make my kids live even more challenging. I was earlier searching for Maruti Alto or Maruti 800. But some of my well wishers suggested me that Alto and 800 don’t look-like a gift, but rather an aged-old rugged material. So both of them were shelved. And every was in favor of Hyundai Eon, but looking at the mesmerizing appearance of the car for the first time I said ‘no’, as I expected the price of beauty to be nearly Rs 5 LAKH, which was way out of budget. My budget was under Rs 3.5 Lakh. After listening the price, I decided that, that’s the car for my kid. In those days the LPG option model D-Lite plus was just launched so we opted for it.
The best thing about the car is its young nature, spacious and loads of feature packed interiors together with best mileage and support of LPG. The compact mini-cutey has smooth power steering for apt manouver in city and AC to keep my daughter cool. The team mates at her office just go mad over Hyundai Eon Dlite and nearly all of them have taken the test drive and gave a 5 star rating over the choice. As per them, after sales service of Hyundai is very good, also maintenance is like a Maruti. We are not aware about all this as this is first time in our family someone is owing a car. Now, on the week days she takes it to office and on weekends she takes me and my wife (i.e. her mother) and her brother to an outing nearby.
