Lovable Fiesta, Modish sedan with minimal issues
Pros : suspension, steering, handling
Cons : clutch, plastic quality, jerky engine at start
I was in no mood to upgrade till I test drove Ford Fiesta for one of my friend who is in search of a sedan. The ride quality is splendid and suspension is kept higher for Indian roads along with stylish R15 tyres that eat away all the potholes and bumps fluently. The cabin is quite, while lighter and stiff looking body provides it a dynamic upper-hand. The handling is sharp with wonderful stability and control alongside electric steering is good.
The 1.5L diesel top end (titanium) is refined and absolutely silent, but a serious concern comes as there is turbo lag below 1800rpm that gets shaky engine at start, especially low speed and clutch is heavier, could have been lighter. The cabin is feature filled, spacious and cozy enough and plastic-used could have been better.

Ford Fiesta is the engine super powerful.
I bought Ford Fiesta Diesel in Jan-2012. The mileage is good at just 17 Kms in City and 22 on Highways with AC all the time.
Ford Fiesta is great fuel economy and it is a smooth manual transmission, nice performance, this in comfortable front seats.
