It was back in 2011 that the air of Indian car bazaar floated with rumors that Toyota Avanza is on the verge of its launch. It also said back then that this is the car, which is going to replace the dominant Toyota Innova. Sadly none of this came to be true. After 2011 news, there is no sign of Avanza in the market. Even the rumors took a toll and never came back. However, it would have been exciting for me to get a new Toyota vehicle in my garage. I have a taxi business and Toyota Innova MUV is one of the most demanded one all over. Toyota Avanza was said to be of similar kinds. 

 

Apparently, there is no confirmation if this one will ever come to India or not, but one thing is for sure, if Toyota decides to launch Avanza in the Indian car bazaar, it will come up in both petrol and diesel engine options. Earlier it was said that Avanza will hold a price tag of around Rs. 7 lakh, this means that a tough competition to other MUVs and SUVs in the market today. Who doesn’t want more space, better style and high fuel efficiency in their cars? 

 

I want that and Toyota Avanza promises to offer all that. As seen from the pictures on the internet, the dynamic design, bold edges and sharp features on the outside do make the car very alluring for me. On the other hand, the interiors of the car are likely to be comfortable and loaded with all kinds of stuff that you see in Innova. I guess if it ever launched in India, this one could give a tough competition to Mahindra Xylo, Chevrolet Tavera etc.
