Renault Duster Diesel would be my next car
Pros : Will have good mileage, superior looks, off-road drivability
Cons : petrol variant would not be economical to purchase
I am currently a possessor of Hyundai Accent petrol that delivers mileage of around 8 – 9 km/l. Now with the sky touching petrol prices I am looking forward to buy a diesel car that could deliver mileage a decent mileage. Apart from this my major consideration of purchase was a crossover. I think that Renault Duster diesel would be a decent buy for my personal usage. I have checked the specifications of the upcoming diesel Renault Duster. It would come equipped by a 1.5 liter diesel engine that will deliver decent fuel economy.
I am impressed with the graphics and features of this car. I appreciate the exotic outfit and comfortable interiors that the company has blessed this car with. I am eagerly waiting for the day when I could get my hands over this mini off-roader. It is bit disappointing that the sudden increase of petrol prices has cancelled my plans to purchase the petrol car. I am expecting that the Duster diesel would fall in the range of Rs. 8 – 9 lakhs.
I guess that the latest features like Rear View Camera with parktronics, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist, Climate control, Sun-roof and Music system would be installed in the diesel top end variant of Duster SUV. Renault is though a new company to approach Indian enthusiasts but its products are truly commendable. I have test driven the Fluence, however I dropped the plan of buying a sedan. Now its time for me buy the upcoming class compact crossover, the Duster. I have also short listed Ertiga diesel but I did not find its interiors satisfactory while I went for its test drive.
