Safari and Scorpio Killing machine
Pros : Must be cost effective and can be a better power churner than its rivals
Cons : Looks like the hatchback, Ford Fusion
After the launch of Mahindra Scorpio, there has been consistent search by the SUV buyers for the next best alternative SUV. Alike Mahindra Scorpio, the Safari too has been one of the whelming cars, but after a long time I think, Ford Motors has showcased an extremely exotic crossover, Ford Ecosport that has got potential to become one of the most demanding crossovers in the domestic auto-market. Ford Ecosport has been in buzz since it was unveiled at the Delhi Auto Expo, 2012.
Car Buyers like me are desperate to know at what price it would be sold in the Indian market. My budget is around 9 lakh and if this crossover would be available my budget range, I would wish to be one of the first buyers to grab this car. Interiors of this car look sufficient for five people, but I think that the shoulder space of Ford Ecosport would not be as capacious as Mahindra Scorpio and Tata Safari.
As all the car makers are introducing their new cars with some fabulous and distinct features, I expect that Ford Motors would also install this SUV with some exciting range of features. My daily run would be more than 50 kms, that too on highways, therefore, my choice would be to own a fuel economical and safer SUV. I am amazed to know that Ford has introduced this SUV in a 1.0 liter variant with an outstanding power churning capacity of 90 bhp. This is truly incomparable and all the utility vehicles should adopt this technology to make their vehicle not only fuel efficient but also cost effective.
