Chevrolet Sail hatchback – the most awaited!
Pros : Sporty styling, Dynamic and proportionate body, Smartech engine, Sturdy
Cons : Price, mileage
The new Chevrolet Sail will take on the premium hatchback segment when it hit the market with the 1.4-litre S-TEC III petrol engine, which is expected to ooze out 100bhp power. These engines are actually Smartech engines, which offer an excellent combination of high power, efficiency and low emissions. It is pretty exciting news for me as I have long time plan to go for a Chevy car. On closely reviewing every detail about this brand new hatch, I feel quite convinced with its immense potential.
With a little spicing up of interiors with use of quality plastic, dual-tone upholstery and chrome trims, Sail can become the most stylish car in its segment. It already seems to be doing well with the wide front grille and stylish Chevy design. If a few more progressive design cues are added to the design, Sail can be a style icon like Beat. The interior of the Sail is spacious, thanks to the dual-cockpit design. The instrument panel with chrome-plated accents accommodates radio, CD player and music Aux-in interface. Sail hatchback is a family car also that can seat up to five people comfortably. For safety, the Sail features safety cage body construction and extensive use of high-strength steel.
Chevrolet Sail is believed to be a fatal competitor in potential premium hatchback market with the likes of the hot selling wheels Hyundai i20, Swift, Ritz, Honda Jazz and Fiat Grande Punto. From my side, thumbs up for Sail!
