Volkswagen Jetta Facelift unveiled during New York Motor Show 2014
Enhanced with various robust features German car maker Volkswagen has unveiled the facelift Jetta during the ongoing Motor Show 2014. The major changes which have been offered in facelift Jetta can be witnessed on the exteriors and interiors of sedan and company has continued the same existing engine configuration in both petrol and diesel disguises which means 1.8 litre TSI, 2.0 litre TSI and 2.0 litre aspirated engine configurations followed by 2.0 litre TDI diesel engine . Apart from this the U.S bound variant may be offered with advanced 2.0 litre TDI Clean diesel engine and also hybrid variant enriched with 1.4 litre TSI engine.
The major which distinguishes between the facelift Jetta and existing Jetta at first instance is newly developed front grille which now carries three horizontal chrome garnished planks followed by newly designed headlamps supported with Bi-xenon modules and LED Daytime running lights. The front bumper receives large air dam, and new fog lamps.
Moving towards the side profile it has been decorated with new alloy wheels whereas the rear portion receives the treatment of Audi cars i.e., LED shaped tail lights. Moving towards the interiors the central console receives chrome treatment, multi functionary steering wheel, piano black color scheme, chrome garnished climatronic control, and various others.
