Vayve Commercial Mobility To Introduce CT5 Solar Car

Despite the increasing use of electric vehicles, innovators are looking for innovations. One such innovation that is gaining popularity in the Indian car market is the introduction of a solar-powered car. Yes, you read right, a Pune-based company Vayve Commercial Mobility is going to launch a new car in the Indian car market, which will be christened CT5. The notable feature of the upcoming car is the presence of a solar panel which powers the battery. The vehicle is mainly developed for urban commuters who have to travel to far locations for professional reasons and therefore can be used for urban fleet operators. The company is also promoting the vehicle as an electric city taxi.
 
 
Speaking about the features offered in CT5, it gets power from a solar panel mounted at the top. This panel empowers an IP 67-certified powertrain and comes with 3 3-year/1.5 lakh km warranty, followed by an extended warranty. Developed from the robust steel rollcage, the CT5 can reach a top speed of 70 kmph. It will offer an average of 330 km on a fully charged battery. It has a boot space of 500 litres and can easily accommodate five persons. 
 
Moving towards other features the dashboard displays location-aware advertisements, a modular serviceable battery pack, remote fleet monitoring system for fleet operators to locate the health of cars in their fleet.
