Two new members added in Etios Liva by Toyota
With Indian Auto Expo just a few steps away Toyota India has introduced two new models in diesel variant of its Etios Live hatchback. Till now there were only four models in diesel variant of Etios Liva namely JD, GD, GD Safety and TRD Sportivo now its family has increased with VD and VD SP, with both the newly introduced models now becoming the top end models in diesel variant. The VD model has been launched with price tag of Rs. 6.72 lakh and VD SP with price tag of Rs. 7.12 lakh (ex-showroom price in New Delhi).
It would be interested to know that company has not made any mechanical changes in the engine configuration and continues the same 1.4 litre D-4D engine churning the power of 170 Nm and developing the torque of 1800 – 2400 rpm. The engine is coated with 5 speed manual transmission system and delivers an average of 23.59 kmpl.
However company has introduced some noticeable changes in the exteriors and interiors of the newly launched models in Etios Liva. The major features adorned in the interiors of both models include rear defogger, tachometer, wood grain finish on door handles, AUX-in Bluetooth enabled music system. Apart from it in VD SP model company has integrated some interesting safety measures for instance as it is SP (Safety Package Model) it is blessed with dual front airbags, ABS, EBD and many more. On the exteriors these model are supported with double chrome grill followed by indicators mounted on wing mirrors, 12 spoke alloy wheels etc.
