Toyota Fortuner to be blessed with new variants in 2015
Earlier it was reported that Japanese car maker Toyota Motors will introduce new variants in its portfolio before the end of this year. But the recent reports from authentic sources have denied all the earlier predictions and now with year coming to an end it seems that car maker will introduce new variants in Fortuner sometimes during 2015.The first variant that would be introduced in the fleet would be an entry level variant which would be empowered with 2.5 litre D-4D Diesel Engine boosting the power of 142 bhp. It would be offered with both manual and automatic transmissions system and will embellish two wheel drive feature.
Another variant that will enhance the brigade of Fortuner would be introduced in the top end variant and will carry the existing 3.0 litre D-4D diesel engine generating the power of 168bhp. The major attractions of this trim would be four wheel drive option and automatic transmission system.
Apart from these changes it is also anticipated that SUV will also undergo some contemporary cosmetic changes that will further enhance its appearance. Industry experts feel that car maker may introduce airbags all the variants as mandatory feature.
