Three months waiting period for Toyota Innova Crysta
Toyota Innova Crysta, the modified version of Innova MPV launched on May 3, 2016 has received an over whelming response from Indian buyers. According to a statement given by Mr. N. Raja, Director, Sales & Marketing, Toyota Kirloskar Motors, "company has received more than 20,000 bookings so far with majority of bookings preferring to buy the top-end Z variant of MPV". Moving ahead Mr. Raja also informed that waiting period of Innova Crysta has gone beyond the duration of three months.
The new Innova Crysta was launched in diesel variant with two engine options of 2.4 L GD diesel engine developing the power of 149PS and torque of 343 Nm and mated with five speed manual gearbox. It is an entry level variant of Innova Crysta which is offered with 13.84 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai) and delivers an ARAi approved fuel efficiency of 15.10 kmpl. Another engine option is 2.8 L GD turbo diesel engine that churns the power of 174 PS and torque of 360Nm. This engine is mated with six speed automatic gearbox and delivers an average of 14.29 kmpl. According to report Japanese car maker is going to commence the production of Innova Crysta Petrol variant sometimes during this month.
