The 2022 Kia Seltos Ready For Launch With Notable Changes
The South Korean carmaker Kia Motors entered the Indian car market with its highly speculated compact SUV Seltos back in 2019. With its launch, the Seltos succeeded in receiving an encouraging response from the Indian buyers. In 2021, the company launched its upgraded version with subtle changes. Now the company is going to introduce its first facelift version in the middle of 2022. The facelift Seltos will undergo some notable changes including, a panoramic sunroof.
To begin with, the changes that the company will introduce in the facelift Kia Seltos 2022, under the hood it will continue with the same engine options, including a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol, and an l.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine. Transmission options will include a six-speed manual, a CVT, a six-speed torque converter automatic, a six-speed iMT, and a seven-speed DCT transmission system.
Speaking about the other features, the top trim of the 2022 Seltos will receive a panoramic sunroof. The mid-sized trims will be available with the same existing single-pane sunroof. Other changes will include, the slightly updated revised front grille, revised bumpers, and new alloys. Inside the cabin also there will be some changes. Apart from this, the facelift Kia Seltos will also receive some ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) features. This feature will be offered in the top-end trim.
Apart from Seltos, the South Korean carmaker will also launch the seven-seater MPV Carens this year in the Indian car market.
