The 2021 Mahindra XUV300 Launched With The Price Tag Of Rs. 9.55 Lakh
Domestic carmaker Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the petrol version of the compact SUV XUV300 in the Indian car market with the starting price of Rs. 9.55 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). The bookings of the compact SUV have been already initiated by the carmaker and the deliveries are expected to begin from the second week of February. In its petrol avatar, the XUV300 receives the AutoShift Transmission System offered in the W6 and above trims. The top-end variant W8 is offered with an option of BlueSense Plus connected technology. The new technology comes equipped with SIM, thus offering the facility to enjoy 40 connected car features.
Under the hood, the petrol AMT XUV300 is empowered with a 1.2-litre turbocharged engine that generates the power of 108 bhp and the torque of 200Nm. The diesel variant is equipped with a 1.5-litre engine boosting the power of 114 bhp and the torque of 300Nm. The six-speed AMT transmission offers features like creep function, ESC, hill-start assist system. The manual transmission system of both the petrol and diesel variants are equipped with a six-speed manual gearbox system.
Speaking about the BlueSense Plus connected technology, it facilitates the driver to lock and unlock the doors with remote along with find my XUV300. The other features of this technology are live tracking and location sharing, geo-fencing, emergency assist, document wallet, route deviation, infotainment controls, and many more. The BlueSense Plus technology supports connectivity with Android and iOS operating system.
According to the sources of the company, the W6 trim in both the petrol and diesel trims will be offered with an electric sunroof system. Addressing the launch of 2021 Mahindra XUV300, Mr Veejay Nakra, CEO, Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra said, "We are glad to introduce electric sunroof right from the mid-variants of the XUV300. As India's safest and most feature-loaded SUV, the XUV300 has always strived to inspire consumers to think big about their aspirations and will continue to do so with future introductions."
