Tata Tigor EV To Offer An ARAI Approved Average Of 213 KM On Single Charge

After delivering the electric version of its compact sedan Tigor to the Government departments, domestic  car maker Tata Motors has launched its extended range in the three trims namely XE+, XM+ and XT+. The new Tigor EV will deliver an ARAI approved average of 213 KM on a single charge and has been offered with the starting price of Rs. 9.44 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi) after deducting the subsidies offered by the central government. The EV Tigor also qualifies for a FAME II incentive for eligible commercial buyers.

Mechanically, the EV Tigor is empowered with 21.5 kWh battery that offers an impressive average despite of the varied temperatures. It is equipped with two charging ports, that offers the facility of fast and slow charging according to the requirement of the buyer. Other features that are offered in the EV Tigor includes the integration of dual front airbags and anti lock braking system (ABS) offered as standard safety features. It is also offered with the warranty of 3 years or 1.25 lakh kms, whichever happens first.
 
Speaking about its drivability, it comes equipped with two driving modes, namely “Drive” and “Sport”. On the exterior front it embellishes signature EV decals, shart fin antenna, revamped front grille and LED stop lamp at the rear portion. Inside the cabin, it comes with dual tone black and gray color combination, single speed transmission, Harman sound system, fabric seats and height adjustable seat. The color options include Egyptian blue, Pearlescent white and Roman silver.
