Tata Sierra Bookings Begin: Features You Can Expect

The domestic carmaker Tata Motors is all set to relaunch its iconic SUV Sierra in the Indian car market on November 25, 2025. Although the company has not yet initiated the bookings, Tata dealers across the country have started receiving the bookings at the down payment of Rs 11,000 and Rs 51,000 based on the dealership. It is reported that these unofficial bookings will be converted into official bookings after the official announcement of bookings by the carmaker.

Dealership sources suggest that deliveries for the new Tata Sierra may begin in the first week of January 2026, though waiting periods could be lengthy, similar to other recent Tata models. The SUV’s prices will be announced on November 25, and the Sierra will rival popular midsize SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Kia Seltos and Honda Elevate. According to reports, the SUV could be priced in the range of Rs 11 lakh to Rs 20 lakh.

The 2025 Sierra will be offered with three engine options, including a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine producing around 170hp, a new 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, and the familiar 118hp 1.5-litre diesel seen in the Nexon and Curvv.

Reports suggest that Sierra will be offered in four variants – Smart, Pure, Adventure and Fearless. The price of entry-level Smart trim could start from Rs 12 lakh and include features such as a digital cockpit, LED headlamps, alloy wheels, rear AC vents, and a comprehensive safety suite with 6 airbags, ESP, Hill Assist, Traction Control and more.

The mid-level Pure variant is expected to be priced near Rs 15 lakh, and carry additional features like cruise control, paddle shifters, a touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic headlamps and wipers, and push-button start.

The Adventure variant, likely around Rs 18 lakh, may offer leatherette upholstery, drive and terrain modes, additional speakers, a fast charger, rear defogger, and a powered driver seat.

At the top sits the Fearless variant, expected at Rs 22 lakh. This trim will come equipped with all features offered in the first three variants and will carry additional features, including a triple-screen layout, ventilated seats, a Harman audio system with subwoofer, wireless charging, ambient lighting, memory seats, and connected light bars.

Tata may also offer premium additions such as ADAS, a 7-airbag layout, connected car tech, an air purifier, and other modern features. Full specifications and feature lists will be confirmed during the official launch on November 25.
