Tata Safari 2021 Bookings To Commence From February 4, 2021
After unveiling the refreshed version of Safari SUV a few days back, the domestic carmaker Tata Motors is going to commence its bookings from February 4, 2021. The SUV is slated for the launch sometimes during the middle of this month and can be booked at the down-payment of 30,000. The SUV is endorsed to be a three-seater version of the Harrier SUV and will be offered with six and seven-seater (captain seats) option. It will be offered in six trims namely, XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ, and XZ+.
Mechanically the new generation of Safari is empowered with a Kryotec 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine boosting the power of 168 bhp and the torque of 350Nm. The same engine is also offered in the Harrier, and outsourced from Fiat. The transmission duty is performed by a six-speed manual gearbox followed by an option of a six-speed automatic torque convertor automatic gearbox outsourced from Hyundai.
The new 2021 Safari is developed on the Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced Architecture (OMEGARC) platform. On the exterior front it embellishes the features like chrome garnished triple slated front grille, dual functional LED DRLs with turn indicators, 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-coloured front bumper, side cladding, tall tailgate, signature twin light LED taillamps, shark fin antenna, xenon HID projector headlamps, and few more. It is offered in three colours options including Orcus White, Royale Blue, and Daytona Grey.
Inside the cabin, it receives dual-tone Oyster White colour treatment with the wooden dashboard. The list of other features includes an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, premium Benecke Kaliko Oyster White leather seats, three-spoke steering wheel, IRA connected technology with voice recognition developed by Tata, seven-inch instrument cluster, JBL sound system with nine-speakers, panoramic sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, six-way powered driver seat with adjustable lumbar support, and many more.
