Tata Motors Ready to Capitalize The Festive Season With New Punch
The domestic carmaker Tata Motors has launched the refreshed version of its best-selling hatchback Punch in the Indian car market with a starting price of Rs 6.12 lakh (ex-showroom price) for the entry-level. The top variant is priced at Rs. 9.45 lakh (ex-showroom price). The hatchback is offered with additional benefits worth Rs 18,000. The company has also initiated the bookings for the new Punch through its official website.
According to the sources of Tata Motors, Punch is not only one of the best-selling cars from the company but is also the first car to achieve the milestone of 4 lakh sales by August 2024. The carmaker expects a further increase in sales with new features in the upcoming festive season. Under the hood, the 2024 Tata Punch comes with the same engine configurations in both petrol and diesel variants. Both variants are powered by 1.2-litre engines and have an option of manual and automatic gear transmission systems.
Speaking about features offered in the new Punch, the boasts features like a a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system equipped with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless phone charger, a grand console with an armrest, rear AC vents, and a Type C fast USB charger. Tata Motors has expanded the lineup with new variants in the Accomplished and Creative personas. Additionally, the company has introduced more affordable sunroof-equipped variants in the Adventure persona, enhancing the appeal of the Punch in its segment.
With the new Punch, the homegrown carmaker intends Tata Motors to capitalize on the festive season and the growing demand for feature-rich SUVs with this latest offering.
