Tata Motors Moves Ahead After Sad Demise Of Ratan Tata
With the decline in the demand for electric vehicles, domestic carmaker Tata Motor plans to strengthen its position in the segment by extending Tata .ev showrooms. Aiming to improve the customer experience and satisfy their unique requirements, this initiative by Tata Motors exhibits its commitment to boosting the sales of electric vehicles in the country.
As a part of this project, the carmaker has established six Tata. ev showrooms across six locations, including two each in Gurgaon and Kochi and one each in Thrissur and Kannur. These showrooms are not only equipped with all facilities designed to provide a comprehensive and engaging retail experience. The staff recruited in these showrooms is well-experienced and skilled to address customer inquiries and promote a deeper understanding of EV technology.
In the words of Vivek Srivatsa, Chief Commercial Officer of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, “The Tata.ev showrooms have been designed keeping in mind the specific needs of EV customers. We have added many elements in the store that would support us in addressing customer queries end to end, helping pass on learning and understanding of the EV technology, thereby enabling faster EV adoption”.
These ev showrooms are already selling popular electric models including the Punch, Tiago, Tigor, and Nexon. The new initiative of the company, Currv coupe is available in both ICE and electric variants and is also being sold through these showrooms. Despite a slowdown in the EV sector, Tata Motors is optimistic that these specialized outlets will encourage greater consumer interest and drive the transition to sustainable mobility solutions.
