Tata Motors Launches iCNG Red Dark Edition Of Nexon
The domestic carmaker Tata Motors has launched the iCNG Red Dark Edition of its best-selling compact SUV Nexon in the Indian car market with a starting price of Rs 12.70 lakh (ex-showroom prices). The special dark edition is available in three trims: Creative, Creative+ PS, and Fearless+ PS. The creative+ PS and Fearless+ PS variants are priced at Rs13.70 lakh and Rs 14.70 lakh, respectively (all prices ex-showroom). The Creative and Creative+ PS variants are Rs 40,000 and the Fearless+ PS variant is Rs 20,000 costlier than their standard versions.

The iCNG Red Dark Edition has an all-black exterior with an Atlas Black body colour, followed by a black front grille and alloy wheels. Retaining the existing alloy design, the special iCNG Dark Edition is customised with a red-themed cabin. It also comes with red leatherette upholstery accented with red and piano black details, exposing its "Red Dark" identity.

Engine Performance: Under the hood, the Tata Nexon iCNG Red Dark Edition is powered by a 1.2-litre Revotron turbo-petrol engine. The engine delivers 87 bhp in petrol mode and 72 bhp in CNG mode, with torque figures of 170 Nm and 140 Nm in their respective modes. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard across the range, and Tata claims a fuel efficiency of 24 km/kg in CNG mode.
