Tata Motors Delivers First Curvv EV To Olympian P.R. Sreejash
The domestic carmaker Tata Motors has initiated the deliveries of its recently launched Curvv EV to customers. The first recipient of the Curvv EV is the Olympic bronze medallist P.R. Sreejash, the Indian hockey goalkeeper, who played a major role for India to grab the bronze medal at the Paris Olympic 2024. The news regarding this was shared by the carmaker on its social media platforms, sharing the message “The Wall goes electric! Our first delivery - to the legend himself. Because the icon on the turf deserves the icon on the road. Wishing @sreejesh88 many green miles ahead!"
Under the hood, the Curvv EV gets the power from Tata’s Gen 2 Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) with two battery options of 45 kWh, generating the power of 110 kW 147 bhp and a bigger one of 55 kWh, developing the power of 165 bhp. Both these powertrains offer a torque of 215 Nm.
Tata Curvv EV Range: Considering the new range of range standards determined by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways under the Modified Indian Driving Cycle (MIDC), the homegrown carmaker has upgraded the range of all its electric vehicles accordingly. The Curvv with 45 kWh motor pack offers an average of 430 km, whereas the version with 55 kWh offers an average of 502, thus making longer drives comfortable for Curvv owners.
Tata Curvv Features: The Curvv EV coupe SUV is equipped with a bunch of cutting-edge technical features consisting of a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and an Acoustic Vehicle Alert System (AVAS). The other safety features include six airbags, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, electronic stability control (ESP), and a hill-start and descent assist system. It is also equipped with safety features like a driver drowsiness alert system and blind spot monitoring system.
The list of other notable features offered in Curvv EV includes a panoramic sunroof, charging capabilities 12.3–inch touchscreen infotainment system with 9 speakers, a 10.2–inch instrument cluster display, and an ambient lighting system.
Tata Curvv EV Price: The price of the entry-level version of Tata Curvv Creative 45 starts from Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom price). With remarkable features and a competitive pricing strategy, Tata Motors aims to strengthen its position in the EV segment of the Indian car market.
