Tata Motors Commences Bookings Of Altroz iCNG

The domestic carmaker Tata Motors is getting ready to launch the iCNG version of its premium hatchback Altroz and will start its delivery in May 2023. For this, the company has also started receiving bookings @ a down payment of Rs 21,000. The Altroz hatchback was launched back in January 2020 and with its launch, it succeeded in impressing Indian buyers. By launching the iCNG version of Altroz, Tata Motors continues to focus on manufacturing eco-friendly vehicles in India.

The company showcased the iCNG Altroz during the Indian Auto Expo 2023 along with the Punch iCNG. Under the hood, it receives the dual-cylinder technology from Tata Motors followed by two smaller Highlights CNG cylinders placed below the boot floor.
 
The iCNG Altroz features a single advanced Engine Control Unit (ECU) to offer a flawless driving experience at the time of moving from petrol to iCNG and iCNG to petrol. According to company sources, Altroz can be started directly in CNG mode. The list of other features includes iRA-connected car technology, automatic headlamps, and cruise control. Speaking about the safety features, it will embellish features like thermal incident protection, a micro switch to switch off the car at the time of refuelling, and a gas leak detection feature. The iCNG variant comes with 3 years of warranty/1,00,000 km, whichever is earlier.
