Tata Aria facelift launched at Rs. 9.95 lakh (ex-showroom price)
Finally after unveiling the facelift Tata Aria at Indian Auto Expo 2014 home grown company Tata Motors has launched it in Indian car market with price tag of Rs. 9.95 lakh (ex-showroom price). The new facelift Aria continues the existing 2.2 litre VariCor four cylinder CRDi engine with enhanced power generating efficiency of 150 PS at 4,000 rpm and torque of 320 Nm at rpm between 1,500 and 3,000 rpm. The facelift Aria also delivers enhanced fuel efficiency figure of 15.05 kmpl, while the earliest version of Aria delivered an average of 13.5 kmpl.
The cosmetic changes offered in exteriors include projector head lamps, newly designed tail lamps and various other interesting changes. On the interiors front the vehicle receives newly introduced Harman Kardon entertainment system. The facelift Aria has been launched in three variants namely Pure LX 4x2, Pleasure 4x2 and Prestige 4x4 with various features different from each other.
The base variant facelift Tata Aria, i.e., Pure LX 4 x 2 bestows ABS+EBD, while the second variant Pleasure 4 x 2 is equipped with rear wash wiper, reverse parking sensors, steering mounted controls, steering mounted controls, front airbags and ABS+EBD. The top end variant Prestige 4 x 4 is blessed with high quality leather upholstery, reverse camera, satellite navigation, 360 watt Harman Infotainment system supporting connectivity with Blue 5 Bluetooth, climate control, cruise control, electric folding ORVMs, side and curtain airbags, ABS+EBD+ESP and traction control.
