Tata Altroz: Game Changer For Tata Motors
Launched on May 22, 2025, the facelift version of the premium hatchback Altroz from the domestic carmaker Tata Motors is garnering attention from buyers. According to the sales statistics revealed by Tata Motors for the month of October 2025, the hatchback has shown superior performance. In October 2025, the company sold 3,770 units, marking a 43% year-on-year (YoY) increase compared to 2,642 units sold in October 2024. The main reason behind the rise in demand is attributed to the Altroz’s 5-star safety rating, solid build quality, and premium feature package, positioning it as a preferred choice among middle-class Indian buyers.
With the starting price of Rs 6.30 lakh (ex-showroom price), the Altroz is offered with a wide price range, covering multiple fuel and transmission options. Tata Motors offers the hatchback with petrol, diesel, and CNG powertrains, giving customers flexibility based on their driving needs. The company has also enhanced the lineup with improved features and technology, boosting its overall appeal.
