Skoda Releases New Kushaq Teaser Ahead of Price Reveal
After unveiling the facelift version of the compact SUV Kushaq in the Indian car market, Skoda India has released its new video showing its exterior and interior. The Czech carmaker will soon announce its price. A detailed walkaround video of the facelifted SUV is also available on Skoda’s official YouTube channel. Under the hood, the Kushaq continues with the 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine producing 115 PS and 178 Nm, now paired with a new 8-speed automatic gearbox alongside a 6-speed manual. The 1.5-litre TSI engine delivers 150 PS and 250 Nm and is offered with a 7-speed DSG. Safety features like six airbags, ABS, EBD, ESC, and TPMS are standard across variants.
Speaking about the cosmetic updates, the exterior of the 2026 Skoda Kushaq receives a refreshed front design that closely resembles the larger Kodiaq SUV. The front grille is now updated with Skoda’s signature butterfly design, while the LED headlamps appear as an extension of the grille. These all-LED units come with integrated dual-function LED DRLs. A dotted LED light bar runs across the grille, adding a modern touch to the front fascia.
The front bumper has been redesigned and now comes equipped with new fog lamps, followed by front parking sensors and a faux skid plate. The side profile gets newly designed 17-inch alloy wheels and a dual-tone colour treatment. Thick black cladding around the wheel arches and Skoda branding on the front fender further enhance its SUV look. The overall side profile remains largely unchanged.

At the rear, the facelifted Kushaq receives sleeker LED tail lamps connected by a light bar with illuminated Skoda name. The tailgate and rear bumper have also received minor changes.
Inside the cabin, the 2026 Kushaq gets some noticeable changes, including dual-tone interiors, a larger fully digital instrument cluster, a touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, electrically adjustable front seats, and a panoramic sunroof. Interestingly, Skoda is offering features such as automatic climate control, alloy wheels, auto-dimming IRVM, rain-sensing wipers, rear wiper and defogger, and a single-pane sunroof (on lower variants) as standard.
