Skoda Octavia to be revealed, Indian launch in 2013

Skoda is ready with the new and brilliant version of Skoda Octavia. The 2013 Skoda Octavia is ready to be revealed at Prague, Czech Republic later this week. This will surely be special for the company as Czech Republic is the company’s home ground. The official launch of 2013 Octavia is expected at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show scheduled in March 2013. As far as the Indian launch is concerned, this might be launched in the Indian car market in August 2013 with the name of Skoda Laura.

The new Octavia is actually made on the Volkswagen Modular Transverse Matrix (MQB) platform. This one is also present in Audi A3 and VW Golf. The 2013 Skoda Octavia will be stretched out to 4659mm in length accompanied by 1814mm of width and a long wheelbase of 2686mm. Skoda has high hopes from this version of Octavia and is expecting it to do pretty well in the global car bazaar.
