Skoda Announces Benefits For Kylaq Club Members
Recently the Czech carmaker Skoda launched its latest offering the compact SUV Kylaq in the Indian car market, with a starting price of Rs 7.90 lakh (ex-showroom price). Now Skoda India is soon to initiate the bookings of the SUV from December 2, 2024. Before this, the company has announced an exclusive Kylaq Club membership to attract potential customers with a host of benefits and discounts.
The Kylaq, was unveiled in India on November 6 with a starting price of ₹7.90 lakh (ex-showroom), with Skoda India making its entrance in the sub-compact SUV category. After starting its journey in India, Kylaq will go against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, and Kia Sonet.
To boost the sales of Kylaq, Skoda has launched the Kylaq Club, offering interesting benefits to potential members: The members of the club will enjoy the following benefits:
• A 25% reduction in the booking amount.
• Extra booking timings of 2 hours for club members, before starting the bookings for standard buyers.
• Discounts of up to Rs 2,000 on accessories for purchases exceeding Rs 10,000.
This initiative reveals Skoda's commitment to providing a premium experience for its customers while strengthening its position in this competitive segment.
Variants and Color Options:
The Kylaq will be available in four variants: Classic, Signature, Signature Plus, and Prestige. While the starting price for the Classic variant has been announced, details for the other trims are anticipated at the time company starts deliveries. The compact SUV will come with five colour options including Olive Gold, Tornado Red, Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver, and Candy White.
Specifications and Safety Features:
The Kylaq compact SUV comes equipped with some premium features like:
• A 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• An 8-inch digital driver display.
• Six-way adjustable, ventilated electric front seats.
• An electric sunroof and cruise control.
• Advanced safety features like six airbags, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring, rollover protection, and multi-collision braking.
With 25 active and passive safety features across all variants, Skoda aims to set a benchmark in the segment.
Powertrain and Performance:
Under the hood, the Kylaq will be powered by a 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine, delivering 113 bhp and 178 Nm of peak torque. The transmission duties will include options of a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox, according to driving preferences.
