Renault Kiger Gets First Major Facelift in 2025
French automaker Renault has launched the first mid-life facelift of its compact SUV Kiger in India with a starting price of Rs 6.29 lakh (ex-showroom price). The top-end variant of Kiger is priced at Rs 11.29 lakh (ex-showroom price). This is the first major facelift introduced to Kiger since its launch in February 2021. The Renault Kiger 2025 replaces the existing RXE, RXL, RXT (O), and RXZ variants, with new four trims—Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion.
Pricing & Colours
The 2025 Renault Kiger is priced between Rs 6.29 lakh and Rs 11.29 lakh (ex-showroom) with introductory pricing. It comes in seven colour options, including two new shades—Oasis Yellow and Shadow Grey.
Design & Interior
On the exterior front, the facelift Kiger 2025 gets a new 10-slat grille with Renault’s updated logo, redesigned bumpers, satin chrome accents, and LED projector headlights. It also features dual-tone alloys, blacked-out ORVMs, and chrome-finished door handles. Inside the cabin, it gets a white-and-black dual-tone cabin, updated seat upholstery, and new dashboard trim inserts.
Features & Safety
The other notable features offered in the facelift Renault Kiger 2025 include an 8-inch infotainment system, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, cruise control, and auto-climate control with rear AC vents. On the Safety end, it gets six airbags (standard), ESC, TPMS, hill-start assist, ABS with EBD, and traction control.
Engine Options
Under the hood, the SUV comes with two engine options, including:
1.0L NA petrol (71 bhp, 96 Nm) with 5-speed MT or AMT.
1.0L turbo petrol (98.6 bhp with CVT / 99 bhp with MT) producing up to 160 Nm of torque.
Rivals
The 2025 Renault Kiger will rival the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Skoda Kylaq, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, and Nissan Magnite in India’s compact SUV market.
