Refreshed BMW M3 launched with price tag of Rs. 1.19 Crore (ex-showroom price)

German luxurious car maker BMW has launched its luxurious saloon sedan M3 in new avatar with starting price of Rs. 1.198 crore (ex-showroom price in India) in Indian car market. The saloon sedan was showcased during Detroit Motor Show held earlier this year in month of January. The sedan carries most of its clues from its erstwhile version but has received newly developed bonnet, new front grille, enlarged wheel arches and small boot spoiler. Apart from these new introductory features the sedan embellishes M logos across the body to make it look different from its erstwhile version and sedan’s of M series.

The refreshed M3 sedan is empowered with twin turbocharged M Twin Power Turbo inline six cylinder engine boosting the power of 431 bhp and torque of 550Nm. The power and torque development figures are 17 bhp and 150 Nm higher than its previous version. The engine is mated with seven speed DCT double clutch system and accelerates speed from standstill to 100 kmph within the period of 4.1 seconds and picks the top speed of 248 kmph.

It would be interested to know that this version M3 seems to more mature than its first version the sedan bestows carbon fibre roof and carbon ceramic brakes. Additional features like twin stalk M wing mirrors and new air vents, adaptive LED headlamps, 8.8 inch touchscreen infotainment system, with iDrive touch controller, automatic two zone air conditioner system, M sport bucket seats and ambient lighting system. Blessed with all these features the most impressive feature of this luxurious sedan is its ARAI certified fuel efficient performance which is endorsed to deliver 10.75 kmpl. The sedan has been launched in comfort, sport and Sport +trims.
