Reasons To Invest In Hyundai Creta Electric
With the dynamic shift towards electric vehicles, the Korean car maker Hyundai Motors is also not leaving any stone unturned in making its electric portfolio a big hit in the international market. After the successful launch of the futuristic Ioniq 5, Hyundai has expanded its EV portfolio, introducing the Creta EV to the Indian market with a price range of Rs 17.99 lakh to Rs 24.38 lakh (ex-showroom).
Powerful Battery and Range Options: The electric Creta comes with two battery options including a 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh. The 42 kWh version offers an ARAI-certified range of 390 km, while the larger 51.4 kWh battery option provides an impressive average of 473 km on a single charge. However, the range figures the company tells may vary while driving in real-world conditions. Both battery packs support AC and DC charging facilities. By using the 11 kW AC charger it will take 4 hours to charge the full battery, whereas using a 50 kW DC charger will charge the battery from 10% to 80% within an hour.

Powerful Performance: The variant with 51.4 kWh variant generates power of 169 bhp, making the SUV touch the speed from a standstill to 100 kmph in just 7.9 seconds. The second battery option of 42 kWh churns the power of 133 bhp and touches the speed from 0 to 100 kmph in the same time span.
Inside the Cabin: Hyundai has made all efforts to make the interior of the Creta EV a perfect combination of style and technology merged into a unit. The steering wheel features a minimalist design without logos, adding to its premium feel. Dual curvilinear screens dominate the dashboard, including a fully digital cluster and a 10.25-inch HD infotainment display. The system supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Hyundai’s Bluelink connectivity, offering over 70 connected features.
The notable feature inside the cabin is the integration of the robust Bose sound system, complemented by a JioSaavn subscription for endless music streaming. The infotainment system also introduces in-car payments, allowing drivers to pay for charging directly through the screen without any concern about using multiple apps.
Innovative Features and Practicality: One of the most impressive features offered by Creta Electric is its Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, making the SUV a portable power source. Therefore, charging a mobile or a laptop is not going to make you worry any more. In fact, even if you want to enjoy the taste of toasters while travelling, your fellow passengers can make delicious snacks without staying in any restaurant. This feature is offered for the first time in the segment.
Comfort and Space: The vehicles by the Korean car maker are the best illustration of comfort, any Creta EV is no exception. With ample legroom, knee room, and headroom, the five-seater e-SUV offers a comfortable seating experience for all passengers. Drivers up to 6 feet tall can easily enjoy long drives without any discomfort. However, individuals taller than 6 feet might experience minor problems while entering and coming out from the SUV. For those concerned about luggage space, the Creta EV offers a generous 422 litre of boot capacity, which can be expanded by folding the rear seats.
Final Thoughts: With its cutting-edge technology, impressive range, and thoughtful features, the Hyundai Creta EV is poised to make a significant impact in the electric SUV market. Whether you’re an eco-conscious driver or a tech enthusiast, the Creta EV offers a compelling package that’s hard to overlook.
