Nissan Readying To Launch X-Trail SUV In Mid-July
The Japanese carmaker Nissan is readying to launch its premium SUV X-Trail in the Indian car market sometime in July this year. The carmaker has recently released a teaser of the upcoming SUV, hinting at its launch. The teaser showcases the V-Motion front grille followed by a new 2D Nissan badge, clamshell bonnet, headlamps with a split pattern, and LED DRLs. With the launch of the X-Trail SUV, the company will add one more vehicle to its existing line-up. At present the company is selling Magnite compact SUV in the Indian car market.

Speaking about the additional features offered in X-Trail, it will come equipped with contemporary features like Google-based software empowered with Google apps, Nissan Connect Telematics, a 360-degree camera, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated seats, a 12.3 instrument cluster and many more. Under the hood, the X-Trail will empower a 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine mated with a CVT automatic transmission system. The engine will generate a power of 204 bhp and a torque 305Nm. It will also get an AWD driving option, however, like its international version it will miss the e-Power strong hybrid power engine.
It is reported that after launching X-Trail, the carmaker will launch the upgraded Magnite SUV by the end of this year. Currently, the upcoming Magnite is undergoing test drives. The Magnite 2024 is believed to host a new front grille, front bumper and LED signatures. Inside the cabin, it will receive a new seat upholstery and new features. Mechanically it will continue with the existing engine configuration.
