Nissan launches facelift of its MPV Evalia

Just couple of days after launch of its highly speculated SUV Nissan Terrano in Indian market, Japanese auto maker Nissan has gifted one more vehicle to Indian car enthusiasts. This time Nissan has launched facelift version of its MPV Evalia in Indian auto market with price tag of Rs. 10.55 lakh (ex-showroom price in Delhi) followed by introduction XV S model in fleet of its models. Price of newly introduced model is Rs. 30,000 higher than XV model. As configuration of engine is concerned Nissan has not made any change in engine configuration and it carries the same 1.5 litre dCi diesel engine that is capable of producing 85 bhp followed by torque of 200 Nm and is supported by five speed manual gearbox which transits power to front wheels.

The major changes which have been introduced in the facelift according to reports received include rear wiper, and opening windows of second row passengers. Other noticeable facelift introduced in exteriors include newly designed alloy wheels. Moving towards interiors it is speculated that company will provide aircon vents for the passengers of second row and globebox at front side. With this it is also expected that company will mount captain seats for passengers of second row.

It would be important to mention that few days back Ashok Leyland had launched its entry level MPV Stile in Indian market which is reported to be created on platform of Evalia, and it seems to make Evalia different from Stile Nissan has launched its facelift version in market.
