Maruti Suzuki Victoris Launched With Three Engine Options

After unveiling the Victoris compact SUV in the Indian car market, Maruti Suzuki has officially launched the SUV, with prices starting at Rs 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom) for the petrol variant. The price of CNG and hybrid versions starts from Rs 11.50 lakh and Rs 16.38 lakh, respectively. The Victoris petrol variant is launched in multiple trims, including LXi, VXi, ZXi, ZXi(O), ZXi Plus, and ZXi Plus (O). The CNG powertrain is available with LXi, VXi, and ZXi trims, whereas the strong hybrid variant is offered with VXi and ZXi Plus (O) trims. The petrol lineup is priced between Rs 10.50 lakh and Rs 17.77 lakh, while the 4WD petrol models range from Rs 18.64 lakh to Rs 19.22 lakh. CNG variants are priced from Rs 11.50 lakh to Rs 14.57 lakh, and strong hybrid variants range from Rs 16.38 lakh to Rs 19.99 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).

Powertrain & Specifications: Like the Grand Vitara, the Victoris is offered with three powertrain options – a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine (101 bhp/137 Nm), a CNG option (87 bhp/121 Nm), and a strong hybrid (91 bhp/122 Nm) with a locally assembled lithium-ion battery. The transmission duties in the petrol variant are performed with a 5-speed manual gear transmission system, followed by an option of 6-speed automatic transmissions, with select variants getting a 4WD option. The CNG variants get an underbody tank that retains the same boot space as petrol models.
 
Exterior & Interior: On the exterior front, the Victoris features a sporty front fascia with a vertical hood, angular LED headlamps, a chrome strip, 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and a powered gesture-controlled tailgate. Customers can choose from 10 colour options, including Eternal Blue and Mystic Green.
 
Inside the cabin, the SUV receives a premium cabin with a layered dashboard design, 64-colour ambient lighting, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, an Alexa-enabled infotainment system with 35+ apps, a dual-pane sunroof, a PM 2.5 air filter, 8-speaker Infinity surround sound with Dolby Atmos, and an 8-way powered ventilated driver seat.
 
Safety Features: The Victoris has received a 5-star safety rating from both Bharat NCAP and Global NCAP. It comes equipped with 6 airbags, ESC, pedestrian protection, seatbelt reminders, 360-degree camera, heads-up display, and Level-2 ADAS optimised for Indian driving conditions.
