Maruti Suzuki Dzire Facelift Updates Leaked Before Launch
The Indo-Japanese carmaker Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch its highly speculated Dzire facelift soon in the Indian car market, probably during the upcoming festive season. With this, the country’s leading carmaker aims to strengthen its position in the compact sedan. According to reports, recently a video of the upcoming Dzire 2024 has leaked online revealing the clear view of cosmetic changes introduced on the exterior and interior of the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire.
What is New on the Exteriors? The facelift Dzire will have a heavily revamped front face, featuring a new grille, sleek LED headlights with DRLs, and newly designed alloy wheels. The sedan also boasts sharper body lines, redesigned taillights, and an electric sunroof— thus making it look completely different from the existing design language.
What is New Inside the Cabin? Inside the cabin also, the facelift Dzire will receive a new treatment in terms of a dual-tone theme and a reworked dashboard, complete with a floating touchscreen infotainment system, likely borrowed from the new Swift. The semi-digital driver display and additional features like a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, rear AC vents, and Android Auto/Apple CarPlay are expected to elevate the driving experience.
Engine and Transmission Options: Maruti Suzuki is likely to equip the new Dzire with its recently introduced Z-series 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine. This engine, which made its debut with the new Swift, is expected to deliver around 80 bhp and 112 Nm of torque. Buyers will likely have the option of either a five-speed manual or a five-speed automatic transmission.
Expected Competitors: The Maruti Suzuki Dzire facelift is speculated to continue its competition with its existing contenders like Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze, and Tata Tigor.
