Maruti e Vitara V/S Electric Creta: Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025
The curtains of the upcoming Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 are set to unfold, new updates are coming daily out from inside sources. A recent report is coming from the country’s leading car makers, Maruti Suzuki India Limited and Hyundai Motors India Limited. According to sources, both the auto-giants are going to launch the electric versions of their best-selling products during the show. Where the Indo-Japanese car MSIL will make its entrance in the electric vehicle segment with e Vitara, the Korean carmaker will launch the electric version of key player Creta in the show.

Both models are expected to be the highlights of their respective pavilions, attracting significant attention alongside other potential unveilings.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara
Expected Price: Rs 20 lakh: Maruti Suzuki India Limited showcased the production version of the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, which debuted as the eVX concept at the 2023 Auto Expo. The electric version Vitara readying for the Indian car market will be offered with two battery options including
49 kWh paired with a single motor generating 144 PS and 189 Nm or 174 PS and 189 Nm.
61 kWh paired with a dual-motor setup delivering 184 PS and 300 Nm.
Although the company has not yet revealed the range e Vitara will offer, it is speculated to offer an impressive average of 500 km on a single charge.

Hyundai Creta
Expected Price: Rs 17 lakh: The compact SUV Creta from the Korean carmaker Hyundai is one of the key players in the Indian car market. Recently, its Indian alliance launched the facelift Creta in the Indian car market, and now the company is all set to bring its electric version. The electric Creta will go against the upcoming e Vitara from MSIL. It will be powered by a single motor with two power generation options of 135 PS and 171 PS. It is expected to come equipped with features like;
Digital key
Vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality
Powered driver’s seat with memory settings
Electric boss mode
Ventilated front seats
Dual-zone climate control
Rear-seat foldable tables
Dual-screen infotainment system (10.25-inch displays)
Level 2 ADAS
Six airbags
Both Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai are expected to display their current lineups followed by potential new global models. The major attractions will however be both e Vitara and Creta Electric, setting a new benchmark in India’s EV segment.
