After the successful launch of BE6e and XEV9e, the domestic carmaker Mahindra & Mahindra is getting ready to launch the next product in its EV line-up. According to sources, the new product will be named XEV 7e and will initially be the electric version of the XUV700 SUV. Recently, the details about the upcoming SUV surfaced online briefing the features that will be introduced in the upcoming SUV. From the images, it can be seen that Mahindra XEV 7e will feature a bold, futuristic design highlighted by a blanked-out grille, triangular LED headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights (DRLs), and stylish new skid plates. Speaking about other features that will be offered in the SUV include contrast-coloured ORVMs, flush-fitting door handles, LED light bars, and sleek dual-tone alloy wheels, setting the vehicle apart with a modern, dynamic aesthetic.

 

 

High-Tech Interior and Features: Inside, the XEV 7e promises a tech-forward cabin. It will boast a panoramic sunroof and a three-screen setup reminiscent of its sibling, the XEV 9e. The dual-tone, two-spoke steering wheel adds a touch of elegance, while the inclusion of an Electronic Parking Brake (EPB), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), powered front seats with memory function, and a powered tailgate ensures convenience and luxury. Additionally, the XEV 7e will come with multiple drive modes and an advanced Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) suite, enhancing both safety and driving experience.

 

Power Train Description: Mahindra has not officially released the XEV 7e's technical specifications, but industry insiders suggest the vehicle could offer two battery options—59kWh and 79kWh. Buyers may also have a choice between a single-motor setup or a dual-motor configuration for all-wheel drive (AWD) capability. These configurations are expected to deliver both impressive range and power, though more details are anticipated soon.  As Mahindra gears up for the official unveiling of the XEV 7e, EV enthusiasts can look forward to a cutting-edge addition to the brand’s expanding electric portfolio.
